Because the Hatchback is on the global platform, & that chassis is way better then the iM chassis. The iM has a twist beam, but the Hatchback has IRS.

Yeah it’s a good looking car. I don’t want to admit it either but if all the midsizes I think it’s the one I like best. It looks dumb in photos because they don’t capture the way the cuts wrap around the curves. It really helps cut down visual weight of the front and make it less FWD looking. It’s the same with the new Avalon. It looks so derpy  in photos but in real life it’s gorgeous. I want one. I can’t believe I’m saying that.

Because nobody with an interest in FD can possibly afford a Supra, but they might be able to afford a Corolla. And at least some of them will be fooled by the Corolla “TRD” crap.
